Join CI&T as a Senior Software Engineer and help transform the potential of AI into real business impact. You’ll contribute to building and improving web applications and systems, working with a collaborative team to deliver reliable, scalable products. You’ll also share your expertise, support other developers, and help strengthen engineering quality and practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications using modern frameworks and technologies
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technology choices for new projects
• Help establish coding standards and development best practices
• Review code and provide constructive feedback to support quality and consistency
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to deliver successful projects
• Identify technical debt and propose improvements to systems
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of full-stack development experience, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, Express, and Python
• 8+ years of experience with modern front-end frameworks, including React
• 4+ years of experience with AWS RDS services (Aurora/PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases
• 4+ years of experience with AWS and cloud deployment
• 2+ years of experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using CircleCI and AWS CDK
• Experience with Git and GitHub
• Understanding of RESTful API design, microservices, and event-driven architectures
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards, including WCAG
• Understanding of infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation
• Strong problem-solving, logical reasoning, and algorithm design skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, architects, product managers, business analysts, and infrastructure teams

Nice to Have

• Experience delivering proofs of concept, MVPs, experiments, or technology evaluations using design-thinking practices
• Experience helping prioritize business initiatives across complex change agendas
